How do trends work?
Updated October 5, 2026
A trend shows how often something happened over a set of games, like a team going over 2.5 goals in 8 of its last 10.
- 8/10 means it happened in 8 of the 10 games counted. Small samples are marked, so you can see when there's little behind a number.
- Windows cover the last 3, 5, 10 and 20 games, the season, and head-to-head (against this opponent, for the NFL).
- Colours run from red to green as the hit rate climbs.
